These new rules are being implimented because the old ones are crap and don't do much. So here I'm going to be a bit more descriptive. Yay! So read on please. On with them rules....
1. First of all I don't want to see anyone insulting or making rude comments out of character to any of the members on the board. You can in character, but please don't go overboard with that. People won't like you if you start acting rude and insulting to them out of character. So please keep everything nice on the forum. Thanks.
2. God-Modding will not be allowed. You can't take control over another persons character with out their permission. Like taking control over what they do, how they act, etc. You just can't do it. Don't do it unless you do have permission. If you do, do it without permission you will be warned and have to modify your post.
3. Ok about avvys and siggys. No naked pictures of anyone. That is porn and it's not allowed on here. We would like it if everyone had an avvy and a siggy to show what their carrie looks like. If you can't make either go to the graphics board and start requesting. Also, avvys can be no bigger then 100x100 and siggys 500x250. Any wider then that and it will stretch the board which annoys the heck out of me. So please check the size before you put it on.
4. Please do check your grammer and your spelling after you've made your rp post. It makes everything better to read in the long run. Although I don't do it just cause I'm lazy like that. I'm just saying it would be better in the long run if everyone started doing that to catch little mistakes they made and to correct them before you post.
5. Please please please avoid posting one-liners or less then a paragraph, because frankly it's boring and frankly nobody likes to rp with something so short. I find it annoying, but there are those times when you have no muse. That is understandable but don't post just one sentence. That is not acceptable. That's just a plain waste of time and our time, so don't do it.
6. All roleplays must be posted in third person. It is very easy to read and reply to while first person is not and it's looking from your point of view which no one want to do. Please make an effort to post in third person.
7. From now on all snog threads have to be labled with a warning. Yes this is a new rule. This is just for the safty of those who are young and don't really want to read you snogging someone else. Hehe. Also this board is PG-13. So nothing over snogging is allowed. You may curse, have a bit of violence and snogging. Nothing over because that would violate tos which we do not wanna do for obvious reasons.
8. No one I repeat no one may have a special gift unless they are a plot carrie or they are a canon carrie that has that special gift. Later on I will open a thread that will allow some gifts but you'll have to have a really good reason why you want that gift, etc. Don't roleplay having a gift that you don't have please or you'll get a nasty detention.

If you have more than one character, this applies to you.
Please place a list of the other characters that you have on this site in the bottom of your signature.
Anyone who has more then one character and doesn't comply to what was asked, will get a warning.
The admin of this site do monthly clean-outs; as in deletions of inactive members.
Those who do not do this, we are not responsible for the accidental deletion of the other characters that a person may have.
You have been asked and warned. If anyone has a problem with this then PM any admin (known as the Headmasters/mistresses, and Deputy Headmasters/mistresses) with your problems.

Here are some rules to help other Witches and Wizards understand what you just posted:
1.) Please role play your character in third person form. It is really annoying when you come accross people who roleplay in first or in any other form.
Wrong way:I was walking by the lake.
Right way:Mary was walking by the lake.
2.) When your character is talking, please use quotation marks so that the other characters can tell if you are speaking.
3.) Your character's name can not contain Potter, Weasley, Malfoy, Granger, Snape, etc. Only canon characters may contain those names. If you don't change your name, then we will change your name for you.
4.) Your character cannot, by any chance, be related to Harry Potter, Dumbledore's granddaughter, Voldemort's good son, Snape's sister, etc. If that character is not in any of the books, then they cannot exist in this site. Please be creative and make up a different character that has its own relations.
5.)No marriage will be allowed on this website unless you are an adult wizard. If you attend Hogwarts, you cannot possibly get married. You can get engaged, but not married.
6.) Your character must be older then 17 to be able to apparate. Your character cannot possibly be able to apparate if he or she is a first year. Also, apparition is not allowed on Hogwarts grounds. It is allowed in other places, but not in Hogwarts. Your character will need to leave Hogwarts grounds before they will be able to apparate.
7.) Try to make your characters more realistic. Most Slytherins must hate Gryffindors and most Gryffindors must hate Slytherins. If you read Harry Potter, you never see any Slytherins and Gryffindors getting along. There may be some exceptions, but make sure to hate the majority of your rival house.
8.) Please remember that this is a roleplaying site. Please do not take it seriously if someone's character casts a spell on your character. Your characters may hate each other, but just because someone's character is cruel doesn't mean that they are really cruel.
9.) If you would like your character to be a werewolf, veela, vampire, animagus, metamorphagus, etc., you need to ask me for permission. To do so, just send me a pm. Also, please remember that this is strictly a Harry Potter site there will be no Elves (except house elves), Hobbits, etc. This is not LOTR.
10.) Your character cannot murder another character unless you have their full permision. You wouldn't want someone killing off your character, because it would mean the end of that character on the site.
11.) Please keep this in mind. If you are a first year, your character can not possibly be 15 years old. Your character should also act their age.
First Years: 11-12 year old
Second Years: 12-13 years old
Third Years: 13-14 years old
Fourth years: 14-15 years old
Fifth Years: 15-16 years old
Sixth Years: 16-17 years old
Seventh Years: 17-18 years old

1. No Mary Sues (all will be taken to Diagon Alley and stoned to death)
2. No one under the age of 12 (proboards rule, not ours)
3.No posting without being accepted
4. Limit of 10 active account
5. All inactive accounts will be deleted at the end of each month
6. Nothing from the future
7. No Harrys or Hermiones coming to the past either
8. No using the c-box to cyber
9. If you sign up for a class you have to attend or lose house
points
